Several members have requested a “Tail of the Dragon”- type drive through the countryside, and our leadership would like to accommodate this request. After all, what’s better than a road rally to support our car community and build camaraderie amongst automotive enthusiasts? Experience the thrill and beauty of driving along curvy and challenging roads through picturesque scenery.

Of course, after the thrills are over, we’ll terminate our drive at a select restaurant to share our day’s experiences and socialize.

Overview:

10:30 am Meeting Point: Wendy’s parking lot at 205 E Fifth Street in Connersville, IN 47331

10:45 am Depart on our 27-mile, 41-minute Country Drive south via IN-121 and IN-229

11:30 Arrive in Connersville, IN (parking locations will be discussed prior to departure) and meet up at the Pearl Street Pub at 11:45 am (3034 Pearl Street in Oldenburg)

Following lunch, we’ll walk to the Carriage House Antiques Store (22159 Main Street, Oldenburg), where you’ll sample some of the best ice cream in the Midwest and shop for antiques if desired. Afterward, you’ll be free to head out or stay and enjoy some of the other attractions in the charming town of Oldenburg.

If inclement weather cancels this activity on September 12th, it will be postponed until Saturday, September 19, 2026 (the following Saturday).
